Intent
Turn the familiar bb-8 silhouette into a livable spherical residence where structure, envelope, and character come from the same geometric rule.
System
The main dome holds shared living space. smaller attached pods support garage, storage, fire, and utility functions. shell ribs and glazed bands create a lightweight spherical enclosure.
Use
The project documents a competition-stage concept for small residential architecture, speculative housing, and sphere-based domestic planning. the updated mobility companion is branded as the TALUS Alpine Access Vehicle: a compact electric utility vehicle for steep private roads, icy driveways, and forest-edge service access.
